Logo Design Brief
We're a new company "Legend Software, LLC" based out of the northeast of the USA. We offer a range of software services and products: from business websites, to custom business software for invoicing & member management, to building reports with reporting software. Our mission is "To provide services that empower businesses, towns and organizations of every size through powerful & affordable software." And our tagline will either be "practical solutions, legendary results" or something along the lines of "Here to make your business a legend"
Our website is under development, but uses a lot of soft grays, whites, light blues, with some dark navy blue intermixed. Fonts I'm using are "Poppins" for headers and "Open Sans" for paragraphs - not necessary that you use these, but I don't want it to clash. See attached photo for work in progress. Note that i'm not sure I will keep the image of the rolling ocean or not, so don't focus in on it too much.

- I'm open to creativity for a logo, as a general guideline though:
-Ideally speaking somehow that this is a tech or software company - doesn't have to be super explicit though, as "software" is already in our name. I don't want it to feel overly techy - this is a business that serves business leaders and administrators, not geeks like us
-Either some kind of play on the word legend or letter L, or an image that speaks to things one might associate with that that give a feeling of strength, security, assuredness, warmth etc. Just as an example, some ideas: earthiness, deep roots or a strong tree as a backdrop to something else, a sword in a stone with green life growing on it, rolling waves
