Logo Design Brief

We already have a company name logo (attached ) but we would like to expand this into a more complete logo, sort of like a badge. Primarily with some sort of border, but could also include whisky distillery related designs....BUT it should be simply and striking. Our existing name logo (which should be the central part of this new design) is based on an Australian 'handmade' theme....and is made to look like corrugated iron. New design should follow this theme.

This new design is mainly to be used on merchandise.

I have attached two logo's one with more detail, happy for this design to include either. I have also included a company 'pattern' that could also be used but not essential.

To explain, I have attached a logo for another company..Cafe Snesko....We had the text logo but someone expanded it into a 'badge' style. Shouldn't look the same..just to illustrate my meaning.
