Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new research group at Vienna University of Technology. We develop new research prototypes exploring the boundaries between machine capabilities (data crunching, patter recognition, automation of routines ) and human capabilities (critical thinking, intuition, common-sense, out-of-the box thinking, reasoning based on incomplete information). Being at a university we conduct research with our PhD students, engage in international project proposal and teach courses on human machine interaction, physical prototyping, socially embedded computing, and ubiquitous computing.
Our approach is to build new concepts, expose them to users, collect feedback and iterate.
We would like to see designs that communicate rigor research, creativity, social aspects and go well on websites and power-point slides.
