Brochure Design Brief
We want branding and a brochure for our 6th Annual conference.
We are a growing organisation in a popular and fascinating field.
We have an international speaker for the second time this year, and want to build excitement about him, and also the work we are doing in general.
The TOPIC is - Concussion, Traumatic brain injury and mood disorder
The Themes are -
professional,
exciting,
with content for beginners right through to expert,
networking,
bright and colourful, but still professional.
carnival/ festival (we have an outdoor area with a pool)
multiple rooms (we have different speakers in different rooms, we want to almost have our time table looking like that of a festival, and have names the rooms some geeky neurology names)
We would like a sense of carnival or festival, as this is the opportunity for passionate people to come together yearly and bond, learn cutting edge material, drink cocktails on a friday night and network with the best in the country.
I would like to see some images included in the brochure that relfext 'foggy head' 'concussion' , 'mood disorder'. We want people to see this and go 'oh wow, we have patients like this, and you have answers?'
I also want all the images in a separate file so we can use them to cross promote on our face book page, so a collection of punchy, attractive images will be part of it.
We would also like icons for our room names in the timetable.
The final format will allow for electronic publishing and also print.
(Just an aside - We want to use images from the 'event brand' to put on the back of a card game that we will use for prizes and promotions)
email me if you need to for the content and timetable.
We also want the design to include creative, enticing but still professional medical elements of neurons and neurology embedded into it.
As an indicator, I like the professionalism and crispness of this site, but we want more festival and colourful.

Please do not use the colour scheme form the logo. Prefer blues in a do slate that has some dark and some teal perhaps, with the logo as a small element.

Requirements
Must have
- Access to all design files for use in other media.
Ability to fine tune once the project is delivered - we don't have all the copy written yet!
A separate page for the event timetable that we can print independently / stand alone.
Wow factor :-)
Should not have
- The logo for AAFN is an old one and we will change it soon, please don't build this around it as it is out dated. Just include it as necessary.
