Logo Design Brief

PacWest Partners have spent the last 35 years buying businesses.

Through our wide-ranging experience, we have come to understand when buying companies, that it is more important to look for a seller with aligned thinking and values rather than look for a company in a specific industry or category.

We buy companies in Western North America, and our name PacWest is a combination of Pacific & Western, which represents the territory we cover. In Canada this would be the Prairies (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta) and British Columbia. In The US this would be Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana.

We need a logo to represent what we do and provide a seller with some comfort and trust in what is the most important decision in their life...from a financial aspect and transition aspect (retirement).

Target Market(s)

Typical profile of a person selling their business is mid-60's.

Requirements

Must have

• A feeling of comfort, trust and familiarity. I attached a picture of myself with another business owner skiing together. That's the feeling and relationship I want to have with them, because I would want someone to care about my that much when I go to sell my business.

Nice to have

• I am torn on whether to have a logo and then below it the name PacWest Partners, or whether PacWest Partners is the logo itself.
