Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a restaurant. We are focused on delivery and carry-out of Israeli and middle eastern food. Shabazi is a neighborhood in Israel. We thought the font/text should look like an Israeli street sign, but instead of hebrew writing, english writing in a hebrewish font. (eg. https://www.fontspace.com/kanisah-font-f22290)

Additionally, we are looking for a logo to join it, some sort of cartoony character maybe. We though maybe a flying pita, or a Grandma with a pot, but are open to creative designs.

The overall idea is to have a blue street sign with a white boarder. the name of the business should appear inside the sign. Underneath each "a" in the business name should be a hebrew vowel, found in the upper right of the following image. Inside of this street sign design is where the character should appear. We don't have a specific "mascot" in mind, but something relating to middle east. A pita delivering food on a camel?

we intend to use the logo not just on stickers and on our website but also as a stamp.
