Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo design for our company in UK. We have been established in England since 2002 in the property market. Our logo/2 logos need to have two different looks as there are two sides to our business:
1) We are a specialist investment management company specialising in property development and real estate investments. This part of the business looks for investors to invest in our real estate projects where the get a return on their investment.
2) We specialise in property rentals and student Lettings service. Therefore we require a unique bespoke logo to represent the main identity of our our company (Properties) but with two different looks. One look which will be used for the investments side which can be more formal and the other look for the rentals/student Lettings side which can be more relaxed/casual. The difference between the two logos can be inform of slight difference in design however not too much so as if people were to see the two next to each other they would know the two relate to the same company Or alternatively the difference between the two logos can be in form of using different colours. For example the colours used for the investments logo can be more formal and elegant to attract the wealthy investors where as the colours used for the rentals/student Lettings can be more casual and colourful to attract the younger generation
