The White River Partnership is in need of an official logo. The White River Partnership is a new collaborative effort of federal, state, and local entities, nonprofits and private landowners in Colorado and Utah with the goal of improving the health of the White River by restoring the riparian (riverside) vegetation.
We remove invasive plants (like tamarisk and Russian olive) to replace them with native plants that benefit the environment (like cottonwood and willow trees). The White River flows through important agricultural/ranching lands as well as desert canyons used for recreation. The river is also important for fish and wildlife habitat.
The logo should reflect elements from the paragraph above; emphasizing the river and native trees. We do not want the logo to resemble invasive trees like tamarisk or Russian olive - please google search these two plants for reference. As stated above, the landscape that we work in is the desert Southwest. We prefer simpler, clean designs.
The logo is for small stickers, letterhead, website heading, annual reports, and group emails.
