Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a nonprofit startup focused on growing our city's urban forest for trees' many environmental, economic, healthy, and community benefits, especially committed to addressing tree equity - getting trees into our lowest income neighborhoods first. The logo should include the name of the organization, the tagline underneath, and either an icon that can stand alone or be use with the text OR a logo that incorporates the feeling of a tree canopy within the city.

Requirements

Must have

• We want the designer's ideas and don't want you to be influenced by the sketches we had to submit.

Nice to have

• Perhaps the stand alone icon is built around the idea of the letter C but incorporates the suggestion of rooftop and tree/leaf?
  
  One simple image that represents idea. Circular, like a woodcut, more organic, artistic, but simple.

Should not have

• No clip art look. Not cute, like a nursery or kindergarten.
