Character Design Brief

I am making a gift for my girlfriend for our anniversary that requires an image. I am going to have this design printed in color on a sweatshirt (the sweatshirt will probably be dark purple), and maybe some other fabric items. Additionally, I would like to use components of this image to laser-etch onto wooden backgammon checkers.

Concept:
My girlfriend and I have pet names for each other, she is Eninabear, I am Confire (I put off a lot of body heat).

I need an image of a cute, small, feminine panda warming by a pleasantly large camp fire. The panda should have the letter "E" subtly worked into the design somewhere (in the attached reference sketch it is on the paws, which is the best I could think of). The panda can be as close to the fire as appropriate, and if there are other environmental things worked into the background/foreground (bamboo, etc.) that is okay. The priority is that the panda is extremely cute with proportions that don't make it seem fat.

The fire should be warm and inviting, and somewhat large. It's important that the fire is circled by stones that form a "C" (also in the reference sketch).

Overall the image should invoke feelings of warmth, love, and comfort. Also, it may possibly be contrasted against a darker colder surrounding environment but this part is not required.

I am very open to different interpretations of what this can look like, I have attached a quick reference sketch. I am not a great artist, and the panda did not turn out nearly as cute as I'd have liked (and maybe a little too far from the fire).

Deliverables:
Looking for:
- A color image of the panda warming by the fire for use printing on fabric
- An individual image in black and white of just the panda (that can be used for laser etching in wood)
- An individual image in black and white of just the fire with the stones (that can be used for laser etching in wood)
