Logo Design Brief
We need a design for a software application called 'e360'. e360 is a standalone Windows desktop application with a companion mobile app. The application provides an eight-step process for business owners to create an online or brick & mortar service. The "e" represents the applications eight steps in evolving their service design concept. The 360 represents the entire cycle (as in 360 degrees). We are after a design and color pallet that is desktop and mobile friendly. The design should communicate in a language of vibrance, confidence and innovation. The tag line of e360 is "Eight Steps to Service Excellence".
For context, the eight steps of the software application are:
1. The Customer Problem Statement - Users develop a deeper understanding of the customer problems that exist, and how customers look for and recognise solutions that can help them.
2. The Service Solution - Designed to help the user define the high level service offering that addresses the customer problems.
3. The Customer Profile - This step segments the target market to create an alignment between the service offering and those customers most likely to be candidates to buy the service.
4. Features and Benefits - This step defines the core features and benefits of the service.
5. The Customer Value Proposition - this step allows users to construct compelling value statements that will help their customers develop a perception of value; crucial to a purchasing decision.
6. The Pricing Strategy - Designed to help users develop their pricing objectives behind the service, as well as the costs associated with planning, implementing and managing their service. The Pricing Strategy also provides users with the ability to create a price list for the service components (items) of their offering, using a Cost Plus Pricing model.
7. Brand - designed to help users develop the brand strategy and brand name behind their service offering.
8. Marketing & Promotions - This last step is designed to capture one or more Marketing & Promotion plans for the service offering, including the various marketing channels, reasons and benefits of using the channel and the users desired outcomes, cost, etc.
Target Market(s)
Start-up businesses that want to design their services before launching; businesses that are facing stiff competition and need to differentiate their services; business owners that want to build greater value in their business. Think of the application as creating a blueprint or product service plan.

Requirements
Must have
- The project design must translate well to desktop and mobile devices. I also need to apply the logo to print material, such as user guides.
Nice to have
- I've seen a few logo's that use vibrant colours. I'd also like the design to somehow incorporate the eight steps in an abstract sense.
