Logo Design Brief

Starting a small leather goods business mainly making products for firefighters. Looking for a distinct logos to promote my brand and logos which I can stamp on leather as a makers mark. Logo does not need to be firefighting related. However, looking for a strong looking logo. Looking to possibly incorporate the "looped square" design which I attached. I do like old style classic americana fonts and styles. I also like logos where words or letters mesh together like something you would see on a cigar wrap.
