Logo Design Brief

Creatorpult started out as a Makerspace almost 4 years ago. Our current logo (and the name of the company) reflects this original focus. About a year and a half later we switched to 3D Manufacturing with 3D Printers and Laser Cutters. At that time I took the original logo, modified the colors and added outlines to improve contrast.
We are gamers at heart here and we are moving into the online retail space selling board game and RPG accessories. We only create our own IP and are not resellers at the moment.

We already have a two logos for Creatorpult, one full logo and a short version for icons (CP). We need to enhance the full logo to include the word Games and the short version to be modified to CPG styled in the same manner as the full logo. We would also like to add one or two small icons to the spelled out emphasize our focus on gaming accessories, such as Dice Towers, Board Game Organizers, 3D Printed Minis etc.

We need the logo converted in a vector file because all we have at the moment are fairly low-res bitmap versions. We have the original .ai files but we have made slight adjustments to the bitmapped versions over the years to improve color and contrast without updating the original to match. I have included only the versions with changes that I feel are relevant. In addition I am including the original CMYK and PMS .ai files so you have something to start from.

Slight improvements to our current logo would be welcome but the focus should be on the new versions. Please note that the colors in the .ai files are not what we would like to move forward with. Refer to the bitmap versions for those colors. There are only 3 colors, the Yellow for the C, The lighter blue for the P and the dark blue for the background where used. We're not married to the RGB values, more the feeling of the pale-ish yellow and bright-ish blue colors.

Creatorpult is our brand and Creatorpult Games is our focus so the word Games should stand out and specifically not follow the style of the current logo. I envision the word being slightly more angular (not italic but with fewer line segments in the outline if that makes any sense. If you could find a way to incorporate some game-like elements into the shapes of the letters without it getting busy that might look good. I'm not sure, I'd have to see it to know.

If there is anything else that you need please let me know. We need this to be able to start selling these products but we can wait a week or two if it takes that.

Requirements

Must have

• An enhanced version of our logo with the word Games added to it in a contrasting way that shows the focus on gaming accessories. One or two icons that emphasize this point might be appropriate but I don't want the logo to be super busy.
  
  With respect to the current logo Creatorpult is a mash-up of Creator and Catapult. The C in the logo is a Lightbulb and the P is a catapult. The underline with the wheels is the catapult platform.
  
  The C and the P must remain and be recognizable as being from the original logo. I can live without the wagon.

Nice to have

• - Improve the colors of the our original logo for better contrast, using the low-res version I uploaded as a starting point.
  - If possible please add a relevant, aesthetic background color and shape for the logo

Should not have

• We are not a video game company so please keep any images/shapes related to Board and/or RPG gaming.
