Logo Design Brief
We require a logo for our new website giftstoredirect.co.uk - This is a UK based business selling gifts for all occasions to users of all ages, but with a slight bias towards female buyers 30+.
The logo must be fun, colourful, energetic, happy and not have a strong bias towards any one particular gifting occasion such as a birthday or Christmas. Our tagline is 'a gift for any occasion' and we want to stay true to that.

Requirements
Must have
- - GiftStoreDirect.co.uk - We want to reinforce the website URL
- A gift for any occasion - This tagline tells our users we can help, no matter what they are looking for.
- Colourful, happy, energetic logo.....but authoritative
- Sharp, professional look and feel
- Retro or pastel colours, nothing harsh. Soft and warm.
Nice to have
- - It would be cool if we could find a graphic that wasn't a gift box, or....find a cool way to use a gift box creatively.
- There are a ton of these sites, how can our logo make us stand out?
- If the designer chooses not to have a graphic and just use lettering, we need to reinforce all the must haves somehow.
I've included some colour swatches I like as files, the designer doesn't need to stick rigidly to these, but they are examples of nice colours of a soft/retro feel that we like.
- If the designer chooses to use a character, we need to make him/her/it totally impartial, not childlike and somehow look British (without using a bulldog or union jack flags or anything else horrific like that)
Should not have
- - No Americanisms, this is a UK store.
