Create a logo for “Collaboration Station”, which is a “living lab” for a childhood disability and rehabilitation centre. This living lab is a physical structure built to encourage collaboration and inclusive research with families, young people with disability or rehabilitation needs, their siblings, and health care professionals. It is not a lab in the sense of "basic lab science": there are no beakers, test tubes, or other traditional lab materials involved. These groups will use the lab to learn, and share their experiences through research, using technology like touch screens, videos, storytelling, and the arts. Living labs are user-centered, iterative, open-innovation systems involving research and innovation in partnership with various groups.
Our participant advisory group brought forward the idea of a train, to communicate the station idea and perhaps the concept of bringing together / collaboration. I'd be interested in seeing some designs with this concept included, either in a circle surrounding the name, or in a line, or something else.
The logo should reflect our priority of collaboration. We would like the logo to reflect diversity, inclusivity, and connection between different individuals and groups. The logo could show that this lab is the place for this collaboration to happen. We are open to different colors in the design but keep in mind this is for child health.
