Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new Accounting services company called Kounted.

We will have several divisions under the brand 'Kounted'. Our first two divisions will be (1) Kountedlive and (2) KountedPayroll

NAME ORIGINS for Kountedlive
• Accounting is the process of recording financial transactions. Account = to count.
• Our unique selling point it providing clients with real-time accounts – keeping it simple & efficient, leveraging the latest technology to automate processes on the client side and on the accounting side.
• Strong communication and integration in the business processes is key to delivering this
• Taking the verb in past tense ‘Counted’ is a reference to our daily communication with the client. “Your financial transactions have been counted”. i.e. your bank transactions have been reconciled, payments done etc. Counted to Kounted is a play on the spelling to create brand differentiation
• Live is in reference to producing real-time accounts. To produce accounts live requires integrated technology. We can provide you reports at any moment – i.e. Live
• Kounted will be what we are referred to for short

LOGO REQUIREMENTS
3 variants: (1) Kounted, (2) Kountedlive, and (3) KountedPayroll + a thumbnail version with just the K or something.
• Logo needs to fit alongside other global SaaS company logos (such as Xero, Shopify, Square) sending a message we are innovative & hip while also looking professional on a set of published financial reports (consider PWC, Deloitte accounting firms) - the key is striking the balance.
• Prefer a colour neutral logo that we can change the colour pallete in the future if needed.
• Suggestions for a colour pallete are welcomed. Would prefer max 1 colour in the logo (excluding black, white, grey etc). We like Green (the colour of money) or Blue as a base
• Need a thumbnail version and/or signature version (i.e. just the ‘K’) but recognizable as Kountedlive.
• Don’t want some big fancy illustration. Minimalist design. Maybe something funky with the K.
