Logo Design Brief

We would like a new logo designed for our remodel company. We do repairs, remodels, and installation of all parts of a home. We would like both a color and a black and white logo. We would prefer the color to match the color of our parent company (not the green portion). The maroon colored portion is all that we want and if you could add another color that would be great. We want the logo to clearly show what our business is about with definition to see what the logo actually is. Right now the logo we have is muddled and confusing. I am enclosing the logo for P&P Repair and Remodel and our parent company logo so that you can see what that looks like. I will also attach the two companies business cards for reference. We would like something professional that shows that we can be depended on to do the repairs properly. It does not have to be a character (like a repairman) per se. It just needs to immediately convey the nature of our work and look professional with two or more colors but I do feel that the simpler the color scheme the better.
