Hi designers! We need an icon to go with an existing text logo for the rebrand of our architectural office. The current firm has a red diamond logo (rotated square not a gem, see attached KCA logo) and we would like a new icon that is an evolution of the red diamond that aligns more with the new firm. The original firm specialized in more traditional architecture (i.e. craftsman) and the new firm is moving in a more contemporary direction. Something more modern/minimalist that aligns more with the text part of the new logo (red logo attachment) would be ideal. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! The font for the main text element of the logo is Karstar for reference.
Please see attachments, precedent logos/branding we like have ‘precedent’ in red text on them.
a) use the existing logo text
b) rotate the square
c) Icon must not have too many negative space so not keen on using just an outline
Updates
Hi designers!
We have added some precedent branding/logos that we liked to the brief. Hopefully this helps supplement the comments we’ve been making. Looking forward to your creative, refined, original, and elegant solutions. Please don’t think these precedent files need to be interpreted and implemented verbatim. We still would like to incorporate the red rotated square. Thanks so much for all of your effort!
