Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a modern, cool logo that business owners in the construction or top business levels can identify with. This should potentially include something that relates to "guardian" a "hard hat" a "construction/safety vest". We're not really sure what we want but are open to all kinds of ideas. We'd like colors that feel professional, yet modern and bold. The initials are GAP so "gap." If we can play with this as well somehow, that would be great.
