Illustration Design Brief
We need 8 iconic, minimalist vector illustrations that we will use to visually articulate and describe the 8 different energies of the DISC behavioral science. We would like these to reflect our branding which you can find on our website, kutskoconsulting.com as well as the attached colors for the high and low DISC descriptions. Preferred colors have been included as an uploaded file in the brief.
I have uploaded stock images that we have been using that are a starting point, but we are looking for some creative input from the designer.
The D scale is represented by the color red, with High D being dark and the Low D being light.
The High D image is a firefighter who feels happy and excited to respond urgently and attack a big problem like putting out a fire.
The Low D image has been described by the words, "Keep Calm and Work Smarter Not Harder" but, like the other images should be replaced with a visual. The image should represent the text. We aren't sure exactly what image to use, though. One idea is a meditating budda, but we would also like to convey that work is getting done, just calmly and reflectively.
The I scale is represented by the color yellow, with High I being dark and the Low I being light.
The High I image is of cheerleaders who are enthusiastically getting others excited.
The Low I image is of a referee blowing a whistle. This type of person feels skeptical but excited to be helping the game by finding errors and enabling justice.
The S scale is represented by the color green, with High S being dark and the Low S being light.
The High S image is the ocean liner, which can carry a lot of cargo and passengers and make it all around the world but does so at a slow and steady pace.
The Low S image is of the jet ski, which moves very quickly and can turn on a dime with versatility and frequent change.
The C scale is represented by the color blue, with High C being dark and the Low C being light.
The High C image is the paint by number canvas, for the person who is precise and enjoys following a process, procedures, and constraints that have been defined by someone else.
The Low C image is the blank canvas, for the person who is more creative without limitations, boundaries, or rules to follow.
