Logo Design Brief

We are a combination custom house design and construction company (Palooza Designs and PDO). I am looking for one logo that encompasses both. We build only custom homes, one at a time, and they are all near the beach. (No palm trees, please). I do not want a fluffy feminine logo. It needs to be sturdy and intelligent and not ordinary. No HGTV looking logos. If you are using roof lines in your design, please just use the ones from the images below. This was the first home that we designed and built. The logo needs to make it obvious what we do. I would not be opposed to having some Masonic symbols in the design such as a square and/or compass.
