Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company that repairs asphalt and fills potholes. We would like ideas to incorporate the letter "V". Color schemes can include but are not restricted to darker gray, black, and a dark yellow or gold. We would like the same logo to have two different but related color schemes; one for with a dark/black background and one for with a light/white background. Ideally the logo would have a modern streamlined look that conveys professional efficiency. Ideally this logo would be useable on business cards, emails, bids, a website, and the sides of vehicles.
