Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a e-commerce retailer who sells Christmas and Halloween villages and figurines (Dept 56/Lemax/Hawthrone Village). Most of the pieces I sell are miniature buildings and figurines. These are popular holiday decor for many people. We are very open on the design elements, it will be used on a website, social media and on packing slips.
I don't want the logo to relate to a specific holiday. It should be simple, elegant, shouldn't contain too many colors. I would be able to use this logo on various background (main background would be mostly white or a light color). I would like an icon and text based logo.
Updates
I have updated the brief and provided a few reference images of logos that I have found online that I like.
Based on the designs that I have seen so far some things that I like:
- Logos that have both an icon and the Villages Unlimited text
- Simple, one or two color designs
Some of the designs that I didn't like as much had the following:
- Just the text Villages Unilmited in different fonts
- Icons that just contain the initials of the company.
I am looking for a icon that represents what the company is selling which is miniature model buildings and figurines in a city/town/village.
