Brick By Brick is a new apprenticeship program for PAVERART aimed at 18 year old high school graduates that are considering NOT pursuing a conventional, 4 year college degree that is often coupled with painful debt that takes decades to pay off.
PAVERART is the world leader in custom paver design and manufacturing, and as our name implies, we turn pavers (or bricks) into ART. We believe that the cost of college and the $1.7 TRILLION of student loan debt is unsustainable. HOWEVER, education is absolutely critical, so we have developed Brick By Brick - A path forward to a solid future.
Brick By Brick will be a combination of a full time apprenticeship program working at PAVERART while simultaneously pursuing practical on-line education, surrounded by mentors that are committed to on the job and education success.
We are looking for motivated individuals that want to literally get their hands dirty, while simultaneously learning life lessons that we have all received, but often OUTSIDE of the conventional classroom. We believe that after 4 years of participating in the Brick By Brick apprenticeship program......the apprentice will be FAR ahead of the equivalent "conventional college student" that is graduating......they will have significant $'s in the bank, a practical education, a portfolio of marketable skills and a personal digital resume that will compete with any college grad in the country.
This is a journey......one step at a time of learning critical job functions and education attainment. Said differently, brick by brick.
The design/logo should capture the essence of this aspiration, combined with what we do at PAVERART. We create beautiful ART that goes into Patios, Driveways, sidewalks. Our top design is the compass rose collection, symbolic of life direction and "true north." Our website is paverart.com.
Brick by Brick is NOT just a job at PAVERART. It's about an intense commitment to personal growth and proving there is a "better way." That requires a combined 60+ hours a week! 32-40 hours of work combined with the same amount of outside education building one's future, brick by brick.
