Logo Design Brief

My team is launching a business and we need a graphics package to incorporate into our website, business cards, letterhead, etc. There will be two lines to the business (1) Split Creek Capital (2) Split Creek Consulting. I would like graphics/logos for each that are complementary, and convey brand cohesion. The ideal submission will include a graphics set that has common font between the two businesses. At least one logo with "Split Creek Capital" wording + image. At least one logo with "Split Creek Consulting" wording + image. Ideally the images for the Capital and Consulting sides of the business will be complementary / cohesive, but also differentiated enough to stand alone. Optimally the graphics part of each logo will be useable independently of the wording part of the logo for example on a mobile app icon, website bookmark, etc.

The firm and both business units will be based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia (USA). I have uploaded two pictures of the blue ridge mountains which may serve as inspiration or context. Our headquarters sits on a unique property with a creek that splits into two directions. We would love to see an inspired and creative take on the name + logo that somehow incorporates the imagery of a split creek and divergent paths and choices.

(1) Split Creek Capital will provide a full range of professional financial services including investment advice, asset management, trust and estate planning. Common and appropriate imagery from this field/industry include stock price charts, bull+bear, coins/money, safe/lock and others.

(2) Split Creek Consulting will provide a wide range of consulting services centered around financial services, systems, alternative investments, board services, etc. Consulting firm logos are commonly somewhat abstract but are clean/professional and suitable for multi-format use (website, business cards, pens, email signatures, etc)

The winner will release copyright/trademark rights to all graphics and deliver a graphics package with Photoshop files + JPEG formats.
