Logo Design Brief

We have inherited an existing logo for our business that needs updating as it doesn't describe who we are, nor convey key attributes.
Papillon Villas is a coastal apartment complex of 21 units, with mostly owner occupiers, but also 2 to 3 holiday lets that we manage as onsite caretakers. We are located in the popular tourist town of Coolum Beach, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. We are bordered by a bushland reserve which has been designated a butterfly sanctuary in order to protect the endangered Richmond Birdwing butterfly. Papillon is french for butterfly. Our current logo text, "Papillon Coolum" (image included) doesn't describe what we are or where we are located. Our proposed logo text addresses this issue.

We want the Richmond Birdwing butterfly to remain a main feature of our new logo, but a fresh take on it is welcome. It can be either a stylised picture or photo, and either static or flying.

Whilst we like simple designs and we're happy to keep the butterfly as the sole image, we will consider additional icon features such as aspects of a building to convey "villas", and/or a sense of beach location or sun, without being too cluttered. These elements are not essential.
