Logo Design Brief

We are launching a new data tech company in the trucking/transportation industry and are looking for a logo . Our vision for the logo is our company name, along with an icon. The icon could be a play on the beginning letters 'CD'. One idea we had is to use a lower case 'lazy d' and incorporate the letter 'c' to resemble the cab of a truck. A very rough mock up is attached as a visual for the idea...we want to see design ideas that are more unique than our rough draft, with a higher cool factor.

We like deep blue as the base color for verbiage. HEX: #212458
RGB: 33, 36, 88; CMYK: 100, 96, 32, 30. Golden yellow or orange or green as a secondary color.

The name of our company is Carrier Details. Our sweet spot is compiling and managing government data on trucking companies, and packaging it in a data feed for other companies to use. Following is info from our boilerplate marketing.
