PowerPoint Design Brief

We need a custom PowerPoint design for a company presentation. This presentation will be sent to new employees during their onboarding/hiring process. We have attached a current mock-up of the presentation - but this is for content only. We do not like the style of the mock-up. We're a commercial real estate investment company based in Los Angeles, CA. Our website is: www.theblvdgrp.com.

One artistic element that we want in the presentation is that we want a timeline similar to the attached file, but want to overlay a rising bar chart from left to right that shows the total number of units owned rising through the years. We would like this to be in the background though by using a low opacity value for the color of the graph. A great example of what we want the timeline to look like is at the bottom of the following webpage (we would just need to add the rising bar chart in the background). https://www.pennybackercap.com/firm. This timeline is what would take the place of page 4 of the attached PP presentation.
