Tattoo Design Brief

Would like a tattoo on the inside of my biceps. The tattoo will be a design containing two symbols: Irish Shamrock and a Dutch lion.
I am Dutch, my wife is Irish so our son is made of both backgrounds.
Design wise is would say, not too big, obvious, clear, but more abstract.
