Logo Design Brief

Hello,
I am a veterinarian and in the process of starting my independent veterinary practice. I am caring primarily for dogs and cats and will be starting this practice in Rancho Mirage California. I want to be recognized as the locally owned and operated veterinary clinic in this area. Most practices here are large corporate practices and are out of touch with the local community. My goal is to separate myself from other brands by having a sense of local feel. This is a warm, laid back desert community. It’s a golf community. The streets and neighborhoods are lined with palm trees (Washingtonia and Date Palms) and citrus trees. The valley is surrounded by mountains (Mt. San Jacinto) and can have snow caps in the winter and turn orange/pink when the sun sets.

My goal is to have many initial options to choose from. I am open to having some scenery elements within the design. Maybe a palm tree and/or mountains vs only a dog and cat without scenery is fine too. I mainly want to see options at this point to help me know what I like. I tend to be more drawn to simplistic logos. Something you could easily place on a hat, shirt, stationary, etc. I’ve uploaded a few logos I was drawn to while searching the internet. Also some scenic photos that might be used to include in logo. Again, prefer simple and clean look.
