Logo Design Brief

Logo for tradidional chinese veterinary medicine ( mainly acupuncture for animals) in Switzerland. I'm a young veterinary acupuncturist with a background of a conventional veterinarian.
The design of the logo should include an acupuncture needle. It also could include colors (preferred are colors with meaning: trustworthy, reliable) and animals (in an abstract style). The final design should be somewhat edgy, but also sophisticated. I tried to do a design myself, but I would also encourgage completely new ideas.
EnerQi is pronounced Energy and is a play on words, which includes the word energy and de chinese word Qi. Qi means something like life force.
