Logo Design Brief

The band has been together since most of them were 12 years old they are now between 16-18. Most started playing between the ages of 6-8. They have performed over the years at festivals such as Main Street Music Fest, Music City Maryland Fest & M3. They have performed at Fish Head Cantina & the 9:32 Club in Merriweather Post Pavilion. They are currently in the studio recording their first album at Omega Studios in Rockville Maryland.

The original band name was “WWKTD" which stood for "What Would Kevin Taylor Do". Kevin is one of the guitar players and this was a fun / appropriate name for kids, not even teenagers yet, to pick. They want to keep part of the original name “KTD" which now stands for "Kill The Darkness".

The band’s variety in music styles, rhythms, and constant atmospheric changes from different songs gives them a unique sound bringing high energy and intensity.

They don't want the same old hard to read metal band style logo. No religious, political or weapons
The logo should include a KTD as a monogram and Kill The Darkness spelled out.

The name Kill The Darkness is about trying to change society's view & treatment of those who struggle either economically, racially , psychologically or from any other social norm that those who are privileged feel they are above. That is the darkness of society that they want to end.
