Logo Design Brief
I am buying a hotel in the Bavarian-themed village of Leavenworth, Washington (USA). The city has fairly strict signage regulation, and requires a "Bavarian-look" and Bavarian font (see attached for examples of both).
The city is located in the mountains, is home to several outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, rafting), and has a Bavarian theme to the buildings that draws the tourists. I want create a welcoming logo that incorporates all of the above, and can be used on my exterior signage and website.
I attached some very rough drafts, some local signage, and photos of the mountains.
Note: Don't worry too much about finding the exact font to start. I am more interested in the background, and then will work with the City on the best font.
