The layout that I posted (#29485171) is meant to replace the current content on your Events page keeping the functionality as is (i.e. using blog posts and providing external links for tickets purchase) rather than upgrading shopify plan and using the Launchpad app (that comes with extra monthly fee). It would only require very basic formatting from you within the description of each event to separate the date and time. Let me know if that works for you.
