Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for the 1275th anniversary of a town in Bavaria/Germany (Laufen an der Salzach). The logo will NOT contain the towns name, so it is required to make it clear by visual means, i.e. the combination of some or all of the following landmarks (not only one of them): the local panorama of the Alps, the medieval church dominating the town, located in a charactistic narrow river loop, the characteristic art nouveau bridge. Please use Google Picture Search for "Laufen an der Salzach" to get an impression. Colors that can be used: white/blue (see Bavarian flag), red/white (coat of arms of Laufen) or red/white/blue respectively, but the logo should also work in greyscale. But the colors are secondary to the requirement of achieving recognizability of the location.
