Background: We own and operate Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Supportive Living communities in Canada, providing seniors with the opportunity to live a life they desire, focusing on their holistic wellbeing.
The foundation of our service delivery is the five senses. Through everything we do, we hope to elevate seniors experiences by harnessing each of the five senses - sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. For example, our meal times are not only about the taste and smell of the food when served, but also the way it appears - is the dish vibrant, what colour plate and place mat is it placed on (do the colours clash - can they clearly see the food)? How does the food feel? Are the residents comfortable on their seats while eating? What music is playing in the dining area? Is it loud and disturbing, or calming and comforting?
Each of the five senses is key in our service delivery!
Task: Given the importance of the five senses, we are looking to design a logo with five different components representing each sense - sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste. We are essentially looking for five logos (one for each of the five senses) that can be combined into one logo or used as separate logos when speaking about how the five senses relate to our services.
We hope for this logo to be simple, yet impactful in how important the five senses are and how they guide our company towards excellence.
Attached you will find a copy of our Optima Living, company logo to provide guidance for possible colour pallets (please feel free to use your discretion, but our main colours are green, blue, and grey). We have also attached some other logos that have been designed for use in our recreation program to allow for continuity across all our logo development.
