Logo Design Brief
We need a new logo design for a company based in Lawrence, KS (The University of Kansas) called The Housing Hawk. We are a rental housing locating service and help students and locals find rentals. The primary business is run through our website - thehousinghawk.com - and we provide available rental listings for users to search. I'd like to leave the details pretty open ended - but a few ideas/things to consider:
Colors: blue, red, possibly yellow
What we want to communicate: we help people find rentals, we're local!
Possible things to incorporate: bird, house, magnifying glass
* there are a lot of generic birds out there for logos (think twitter, angry birds), if a bird is incorporated into the design - which would be ideal - it needs to be memorable and unique.
Our audience: We are located in a college town (KU) so a lot of our users are college students.
