Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for the powerlifting team of our gym (called "Evolution"), the logo of our gym (attached) should be included in some way in the new logo. Powerlifting is a sport that consist in 3 barbell movements: the deadlift, the back squat and the bench press, the logo can include some figures regarding this sport. We need to print this logo on a black background, so it should be only white. The final design should communicate "power" and be "institutional", maybe it can include the words "est. 2015".
