Label Design Brief
Hello All! We’ve had some luck with designcrowd before, and would love help with our next project. We need an artistic can design for our beer. The label is for a 16 oz. beer can. The label size is 5.0” x 8.00”. I’ve attached the AI file for our logo, it should stand out on the can. I've attached 2 versions of the logo, feel free to use either one.
We are looking for 3-5 different color palettes with each submission. We prefer something in which different color palettes can be used to differentiate the styles of beer. We haven't settled on names yet, but some of the styles we have brewed include: IPA, Double IPA, Scottish Ale, Pale Ale, Stout, Summer Ale, Pumpkin Ale to name a few. (Our Summer Ale is named Raft Up, if you would like to use in Mock-Up). There should be a spot for the style and name of the beer.
We would love to see your artistic abilities! We want something that goes with our branding (in particular the anchor).
I've included a few samples from different breweries of cans we like. I've also included the fonts that were used on the logo. There should be an area on the can for the style and names of the beer.
(We will add UPC's and any relevant disclosures/warnings after the fact)
Some info about our brewery:
The name of the Brewery is Cow Harbor Brewing Company. Our brewery is based on Northport NY. Northport New York is referred to as Cow Harbor (There is a Cow Harbor Day in the Village, as well as a large Cow Harbor Running Race). The name comes from “The Great Cow Harbor” this is what the Village was called years ago as the cows use to graze on the fields along the Harbor which are now two lovely waterfront parks. Northport, NY is a beautiful waterfront village in Northport NY with roots in shipbuilding. The brewery is run by 3 brothers and 2 friends.
