Graphic Design Brief

I WORK IN THE MINING AND MINERALS INDUSTRY AS A HEAVY DIESEL MECHANIC & I NEED A COMPANY LOGO WITH THE NAME IN IT. THE LOGO SHOULD NOT HAVE A GEAR ON MECHANICAL COMPONENT IN IT. I WOULD LIKE IT TO LOOK MODERN.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE A SUB LOGO TO PUT ON THE BACK OF STAFFS SHIRTS AND LETTER HEAD " UDC".
ALL LOGOS MUST BE ABLE TO STAND OUT CLEAR ON ORANGE AND YELLOW WORK SHIRTS.
