Poster Design Brief
On April 6, 1966, a UFO was seen by several hundred children, numerous teachers, and many civilisations. It hovered over the oval at Westall High School (near Melbourne, Australia) , before then landing in a nearby parkland. A coverup then followed, and all those who saw it were sworn to secrecy.
I'm writing a new youth musical about the topic and I'm looking for a killer poster to go with the project!
I'd love to see the following in the poster:
- a silhouette of the kids looking into the sky
- a background of parkland
- (maybe) a UFO
- The title "Westall '66: The Musical"
- The by-line "Written and Composed by Drew Lane"
There needs to be an air of spookiness, surreal-ness, and "otherwordly-ness" to it. I don't want anything that's overtly 60's; not a pastiche of the era.
