Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new online company. We sell backpacks specifically for parents with babies & designed to carry all the things that are needed for babies. The logo will be on a small cloth patch which measures about 6cm x 6cm (2&1/2 inches x 2&1/2 inches). It will be dark background with light coloured logo. Because of the size it would be better without a lot of detail.
We would like something that shows a parent with their young one, but could be animal, rather than human. Something that conveys the bond between parent & baby. We have uploaded a photo of a logo patch that shows an idea of the sort of thing we are after.
