Logo Design Brief

Small hotel in northern Catskill mountains looking for merchandising logo to tie in their "Inn of happiness" theme to their Windham, NY location. The hotel name, Albergo Allegria, is Italian for the Inn of Happiness. We feature a 21-room property with curated guest rooms, and an on-site restaurant specializing in culinary creations for breakfast. Albergo Allegria ranks #1 for TripAdvisor traveler choice for hotels in the entire Catskill region.

Rather than merchandise with the just the hotel name, we are looking for the larger idea of Happiness being located in Windham, NY. The words "Happiness" and "Windham" are the focus. Additionally, the hotel mark/logo is just as important as it ties the two ideas together. It is attached and looks like an ornate square inside a circle.

Secondary might be the use of the location tags of "The Catskills" "Catskills" "Catskill Mountains" "New York" "Upstate" or perhaps something more creative and specific to Windham as "12496" (Windham's Zip Code) or even "734" (Windham's phone prefix); although these numbers would probably be in the background as they are more 'obscure'.

I have attached our mark/logo with a greyscale outline and dark black outline. ***Not necessary to use, but for reference, I additionally attached the hotel logo, as well as &Breakfast by Albergo, the restaurant logo.

I am looking for something with a fun, vintage vibe that encompasses the quintessential Catskill Mountain summer vacation vibe. The final design should be attractive to locals, second home owners, and tourists alike and also look good in both full color and grey scale. I have attached our brand kit, and although the Albergo Allegria logo within that kit has been replaced, the brand color pallets within it, and brand attribute are accurate.
