Logo Design Brief

We have been using this logo for about 8 years now and it has served its purpose well. But I'm about to re-do our website, buy more clothing with our logo on it and pay for new signs for our building, so if I am to update our logo, now is the time. I'd like to see some ideas on how to still make our brand recognizable, but freshen it up. Here's our website, so you can get an idea of our current branding and colors. The car is a "leaf shape" to represent the green, eco-friendly recycling aspect of our business. www.cumberlandusedautoparts.com.
I need the graphical part of the logo to stand alone and represent our brand, but when displayed with the company name, it can also be displayed in a square format or an elongated rectangle format depending on the need.
