Logo Design Brief

My partner Tommy is a "Commercial Gyprocker" by trade which means he does BIG commercial jobs and not JUST plasters houses (however he CAN plaster houses...)
1770 is the place Captain Cook landed, so an anchor represents the area we live in (as its a tourist destination/holiday place)
Extra info- Tommy can put together tiny homes etc so his skills are broad ranging and thats why we chose "1770 Constructions" as it covers different things, such as "ceilings and petitions" (ie the writting on the bottom)
I want something professional/eye catching as this will go on his tshirts, stubby holders, business cards... and by next year, we should have a wesbite etc etc
A previous designer put house in the logo and even though it looked okay, it made "1770 Constructions" look like they only did houses (when the do Sheds, tiny houses, plastering houses, big IGA stores, ceilings for big stores etc etc

Target Market(s)

Broad ranging... Mums and dads to commercial industry. The town had 2K people in it, now it was 6K and growing so lots of development/construction
