Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for an upscale boutique hedge fund. I’ve attached images of logos I have for another company (Hardy|Hobbs & Jackson) and a company I sold (Power Windows). They are very different but capture the ideas I like.
Hardy|Hobbs - the font is terrific. The discretely embedded ‘H’ is creative. Obviously ‘H’ doesn’t work for Chronos/Square. The copper is a nice contrast and the gray works on most backgrounds.
Power Windows - I really like the möbius strip feel/design of the ‘P’ and ‘W’. The font is okay, but works well with the ‘PW’. The blue and platinum colors are a great combination.
The colors on both are good but I am open.
The appeal of both examples I included is the obscure/stylized nature of the letters of the companies (the hidden ‘H’ and the very stylized ‘P’ and ‘W’.
I’m looking for a design that doesn’t just have the letters of the companies. IF the letters are part of the logo, they are creative not literal.
