Logo Design Brief

We are changing our company name and we need a new logo to match. We have been evolving our brand over the last few years and our old logo is looooonnnnggg out of date! We need a new logo with a modern feel to go with our new name (Smart Glazier Software). Our current name is Smart-Builder and we are just adjusting to be more focused on our industry, as we only sell to glaziers.

Our customers are glaziers, they work with their hands and make custom glass for showers, balustrades, tabletops and more... They are not typically enthusiastic about software so we need to convey trust and simplicity with our brand.

We want to be remembered and we want to stand out from other software players in the glass industry. We believe our new colour palette achieves this and we need to bring our logo up to speed.

We dont have a fixed brand guideline to work from, but the attached file shows our existing logo (please dont use those colours) and also two images showing our softwares login page and our website (www.smart-builder.com).

You will see on our login page that we feature a very striking owl. We also have the owl incorporated into our current logo and we would love to be able to keep some reference to him moving forward. He will continue to feature on our login page, our tradeshow stands, business cards and other printed collateral, and we will be incorporating him into the website in the near future as well.

We make and sell software for the glass industry. Specifically flat glass, custom glass. We do not sell to the automotive industry.

We already have a brand but we havent updated our logo to match the existing website. We are also in the process of renaming the company so would like to get an updated logo to match the new company name and website. www.smart-builder.com This will be adjusted soon to be smartglazier.com.

Our target audience is global, largest markets are USA and europe at present and we plan to expand into other areas soon.
