We need a logo design for a new, food brand that offers delicious, rice based, gluten free, popped chip snacks and ready to eat foods. The rice we use is from Taiwan and Thailand, and the flavors of our food products are Asian style - Taiwanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, etc. depending on the product.
Our products are designed for Asian Americans and those who appreciate authentic, global flavors, but at the same time also want all natural, ingredients and less processed foods. The initial product will be a popped rice chip. Later instant noodles and ready to eat dishes will be added.
What distinguishes our products from others in the market is our delicious, umami rich, flavors and use of all natural ingredients. Our products are not the diluted, Asian, style foods, but the kind of products that are delicious, umami rich, and authentically flavored. They are not what many might assume convenient Asian foods to be highly processed and filled with MSG.
American millennials are the main TA. Gen X and Gen Z are secondary TA. Our TA is educated, open, curious and welcomes global flavors. We want to attract the 2nd, 3rd generation, Asian Americans as well as other Americans who are looking for delicious, convenient, Asian style, food products.
Ricebird brand style is original, creative, modern, contemporary, and interesting. Style should be bold, stylish and can have some light, Asian undertones (this is not a requirement). Design should not be minimalistic. Would like to see some unique font style. Want to see a variety of designs with and without a bird. *Note bird does not have to look like a real ricebird. The attached photo of ricebird is just for reference.
If there is a bird illustration or drawing, it should not be abstract nor a traditional style drawing.
I’m not set on certain colors at this point so designers can make suggestions, but tone of color can be matte.

- Since this is a retail product, the design must look good on packaging. If using a bird graphic, bird graphic should be original, creative and interesting.

- Design should not have minimalistic look. If there is a bird illustration or drawing, it should not be abstract nor a traditional style drawing. Also it should not look like the attached reference photo of a ricebird. If there's a bird graphic, it SHOULD NOT be the focus of the logo. NO pink or purple colors.
