Cup and Mug Design Brief
Design Brief for Everyday Works Coffee Cups:
Dear Design Team,
We are thrilled to collaborate with you on this exciting project to design our Everyday Works coffee cups. These cups should not only be practical vessels for our exquisite coffee but should also echo our brand’s personality and values.
Attached, you will find our comprehensive brand guidelines, which detail our logos, usage, typography, and more. We ask that you primarily refer to these guidelines to ensure our brand identity is represented accurately and consistently.
Color Palette: Please adhere to the color palette specified in our brand guidelines. The earthy tones and vibrant hues in our palette embody the balance between our focus on health and the lively spirit we embody.
Logo: Ensure that our Everyday Works logo is prominently visible on the cup. We aim for every cup to serve as a reminder of our brand and the quality we stand for.
Mantra: Incorporate our brand mantra 'Consume with Purpose' into the design in a creative yet impactful manner. We want this mantra to be a constant reminder of our philosophy each time a customer enjoys our products.
Local & Community Connection: We're passionate about our local Oak Cliff community. Try to encapsulate this connection in the design, perhaps through subtle iconography or visuals that hint at our local roots and community spirit.
Fun & Vibrant: Keeping our youthful, mainly female demographic in mind, aim for a design that is fun and vibrant. Our Instagram page (link attached) can serve as a useful reference to our brand's visual identity and the spirit we aim to communicate.
Sustainability: A small nod to our commitment to sustainability in the design would align well with our brand's core values.
Functionality: Comfort in holding the cup is crucial. Please ensure that your design, while visually appealing, does not compromise on the cup's functionality.
Different Designs for Hot and Cold Cups: Please note that we're looking for separate designs for our hot and cold coffee cups. While both designs should resonate with our overall brand identity, they can certainly have their distinct flairs suitable for the type of beverage they're intended for.
Optional Special Lid Design: If it complements and enhances the overall design, feel free to consider a unique lid design. This could be an exciting avenue to further differentiate our hot and cold beverage cups.
As you embark on this creative journey, we encourage you to explore our Instagram page and our brand guidelines to get a better sense of our brand's visual identity. We eagerly look forward to your imaginative concepts and seeing our vision come to life.

Dear Team,
Quick update for our coffee cup design: We're favoring a minimalistic style similar to the yellow cup examples I'll soon share in our folder. Importantly, please incorporate our mantra "Consume with Purpose" as a standout graphic on the cup sleeves.
Additionally, our preferred color choice leans more towards green or other hues within our brand's color palette.
Eagerly anticipating your creative designs.
Best,
Armando Gonzalez
