Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a Western performance horse training company based in Southern California called King Performance Horses. We specialize in training, showing, breeding, and selling western horses specifically those that compete in reining and ranch horse, events that were originally based in maneuvers used to work cattle. We like designs with a crown, black and gold (yellow) colors with script fonts that convey a classic fancy feel. We'd like the crown to have spur rowels
on the top as a nod to classic western design elements. There is an option to include a horse - signature moves for this style of riding are either a sliding stop or a spinning horse but we'd like to see options with both no horse and horse to see what resonates better for the refresh. The company has been around for 3+ generations since 1959, so we'd like the designs to communicate the idea of heritage, trustworthiness, and teamwork, but it may not be necessary to include the establishment year, depending on the design. We also need something that will translate well to wearable swag (t-shirts, hats, etc) as those are a key advertising element for this industry.
